After running their initial junior boys cricket programme in 2012, the Hunter Academy of Sport and the Newcastle Junior Cricket Association will again work together to deliver targeted player development programmes in 2013.
In 2013 there will be two junior boys’ programmes;
U/16 Bradman Cup (Head Coach Neil McDonald) and
U/14 Kookaburra Cup (Head Coach Mike MacKenzie).

Wests defeated Cardiff in the final round of the competition and take the DeCourcy Cup for season 2012-13. As holders of the Cup at the end of the season they will receive $ 1000 bonus. Hamwicks and University will also receive prizemoney from the DeCourcy Club as holders of the Cup during the season.
